Grant Cardone, Bestselling author and television commentator, is making a mark on the state's real estate market, spending over $250 million on Florida properties over the past two years.
Cardone, creator of sales training programs for many Fortune 500 companies, aims to invest $1 billion into the Florida market by the end of the decade.
The most recent of Cardone's acquisitions is the Wellington Club in Lake Worth. The purchase of the 204-unit apartment complex, located at 9855 Herons Nest Court, has not been recorded by Palm Beach County records, and no purchase price has been disclosed. Another of his purchases, an apartment complex in North Miami, will close soon.
“We’re just warming up here,” Cardone said, “there’s so many reasons to buy in Florida. It’s not going to stop.”
Cardone invests in real estate through Pacific Star 5, Inc., a real estate investment company of which Cardone is president.
