Apr 25, 2012 April 25, 2012

Brickell is quickly becoming the trendiest place to be in Miami. It has a mix of art, business, family entertainment, music, shopping, nightlife, and dancing. Restaurants old and new are coming to Brickell.  The real estate market is trying to keep up. Many Brickell condos are available and offer owners great accessibility and convenience. Brickell is definitely the “it” place to be.

Many restaurants, such as Taverna Opa and China Grill, are moving from South Beach to Brickell for the livelier, younger crowd.  Taverna Opa mixes the traditional and modern and features DJs and belly dancing. China Grill, a South Beach landmark since 1995, is moving to Brickell in hopes of reinventing themselves.

Chain restaurants have also come to Brickell. Started in Manhattan, Brother Jimmy’s BBQ has expanded to Brickell, often referred to the “Manhattan of the South.” This is the company’s first location in Florida Kokoriko, part of Columbia’s rotisserie chain, will be heading to Brickell. With more of a modern flare and less expensive, Kokoriko should be a big hit.

A variety of other restaurants are also coming to Brickell. Greenspoon Healthbar and Grill offers a healthy menu.  Toscana Divino has Italian food and a showroom of Italian items for sale. For surf and turf, check out PM Fish and Steak House. This is just a small sampling of the restaurants in Brickell.

To be close to these hotspots, many people are choosing to rent and/or buy Brickell condos. Leaning toward the expensive side, young professionals, empty nesters, and overseas business professionals seem to be most attracted to living in Brickell. Brickell condos offer ease and accessibility. No more long commutes or taxi rides from the suburbs to downtown. Instead, be in walking distance, a short car ride, or a metro ride to most anywhere including local sports arenas, restaurants, and hospitals. By living in Brickell condos, have access to a variety of amenities such as pool, gym, and a garage. Lawn and general outdoor maintenance can be taken care of for you.  By living in Brickell condos, you are joining a community. Stop by your neighbors, get to know the owners of the local shops and even feel comfortable walking by yourself. Enjoy the local scenery as well as the beautiful skyline.

But by the 1950s they began to lay down roots in Miami Beach and to impact the economy, politics, and social flavor...
