Casa Bella Residences: Related Group, B&B Italia Relaunch Luxury Downtown Miami Condos

Nov 22, 2021 November 22, 2021

Revived, rebranded, and relaunched! Related Group and Alta Developers’ latest luxury condo tower will rise at 1400 Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami’s Arts & Entertainment District. Featuring 306 luxury residences in a distinctive 57-story tower, Casa Bella by B&B Italia seeks to deliver the “Art of Italian Living in Miami.”

In 2016, the developer duo had announced plans for the then Auberge Residences Miami to rise at 1400 Biscayne Boulevard. The project was cancelled and deposits were returned to buyers amid a cooling condo market. Fast forward five years -- and 2021’s booming luxury housing market has developers launching sales on a revamped model, under a new name, but with the same impressive team.

Arquitectonica, Piero Lissoni, and Enzo Enea will be handling various design duties at Casa Bella, just like in the previously launched tower. Considering Auberge Miami was already fully approved, developers (in their rush to make the most of this current market frenzy) seem to have retained major design elements and amenities. Casa Bella will feature the same full glass exterior, rippling façade, museum quality art, a world-class spa, and sky pool terrace observatory as planned for the original tower.

Offering a boutique luxury experience, this Arquitectonica-designed tower will feature only 6 to 7 residences per floor. Its angled balconies are not only meant to maximize city and water views (from select residences), but also add dimension to the tower’s rippling, wave-like façade.

Featuring interiors by the widely acclaimed Piero Lissoni, residents will enjoy coming home to modern, tasteful abodes steeped in a rich Italian aesthetic. Lissoni, who has worked on a dozen Miami luxury condo projects, is known for his ability to “establish a stylistic code and visual identity that are clearly and instantly recognizable.”

All 306 residences at Casa Bella will feature imported porcelain flooring, sleek Italian cabinets in kitchens and baths by ITALKRAFT, a top-of-the-line black glass appliance package, Piero Lissoni-designed master baths, and plenty of other luxury finishes curated by Piero Lissoni.

Units will range from one to four bedrooms in size. There will also be an exclusive penthouse collection featuring extra high ceilings and summer kitchens.

Owners at the luxurious Casa Bella will be allowed to rent their units up to 6 times per year, with a minimum rental of 30 days. The ability to have both a luxurious second home or vacation home that also offers investment potential makes Casa Bella an exciting opportunity.

An exclusive, sky pool terrace and observatory, soaring 650 feet above the city, will be the centerpiece of amenities at Casa Bella. The private observatory will come equipped with a sophisticated telescope. Residents will further have access to a 12th-floor pool deck featuring Italian-style gardens designed by Enzo Enea, a luxury spa, and a 78-foot lap pool featuring Bay views.

The roster of outdoor amenities at Casa Bella Residences will also include a poolside Mediterranean café, private cabanas and shaded lounge areas, an open-air yoga lawn, a pickleball court, plus private dining with dedicated space for outdoor grilling.

Residents of the glass-clad Casa Bella will also have access to a comfortable work-from-home (WFH) lounge, fully equipped business center, adult lounge, game room, children’s playroom with educational games and smartboard, 360 Wellness Center, beauty salon with mani-pedi stations, cinema, wine room, and pet spa.

Casa Bella’s unique partnership with luxury design and furnishings brand B&B Italia will be prominently on display throughout the premises, as all indoor and outdoor public spaces will feature high-end furniture from the designer brand.

The Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts, dog-friendly Margaret Pace Park with its tennis and volleyball courts, and the bayside Museum Park housing the Pérez Art Museum as well as Frost Museum of Science will all be withing walking distance. By car, Wynwood and its plethora of restaurants and galleries will be under 10 minutes, shopping at Design District will be 10 minutes, the financial district of Brickell will be 15 minutes, Miami International Airport will be 15 minutes, and the respite and leisure destinations of South Beach will be 20 minutes.

Miami Beach is more than a destination—it’s a lifestyle, a legend, and a vibrant blend of culture, history, and coastal allure. Yet within its famed shores lie distinct neighborhoods, each offering a unique lifestyle. The rise of the Faena District has cemented the area as a cultural and artistic destination, attracting art lovers, starchitects and big-budget developers eager to cater to its ever-growing community of discerning and global residents.
