Five Park Condos: Pre-sales for South Beach’s Newest and Tallest Tower
Jul 12, 2021 July 12, 2021
Envisioned to stand as an iconic beacon at the entrance to South Beach, sales are now underway for the Five Park condo residences. Previously known as Canopy Park or the Park on Fifth, the 519-foot tower is an ambitious project by developers David Martin (Terra Group) and Russell Galbut (GFO Investments) set to give Miami Beach its tallest tower yet.
The 48-story cylindrical tower designed by Arquitectonica will house 98 luxury residences anchored by a dog-friendly 3-acre public park complete with native shade trees, art displays, a Monstrum playground, and more. Tasteful retail and an artistic bridge over 5th Street - connecting the community to a baywalk, the marina, and South Pointe Park in South of Fifth - are other highlights at this iconic development. The entire development will be optimized for sustainability with resourceful water management and heat load management.
Five Park - The Tallest Building in Miami Beach
Towering 519 feet above the gateway to Miami Beach, standing adjacent to the MacArthur Causeway on 5th Street, Five Park is the second in the three-phase Canopy Park project. The cylindrical tower designed by Arquitectonica is said to embrace and reflect the timeless glamour and culture of Miami Beach.
Featuring 98 luxury residences designed by Gabellini Sheppard, each unit will have an elliptical floorplan to maximize light and view corridors. This, combined with the cylindrical form of the building, will help residents enjoy 360-degree views of the city, water, and park below.
The internationally-acclaimed Gabellini Sheppard Associates architecture and interior design practice is known for its unique spacial interpretations. Each residence will be built for function, beauty, and sustainability, featuring a modern setting with classic undertones, complete with smart home tech and the Five Park app for seamless home management.
Amenities at South Beach’s Five Park
With two full floors (levels 3 & 26) dedicated to a private owner’s club, Park Five offers a higher level of exclusive interaction. The third-floor Canopy Club will feature a resident’s lounge, co-working studio, teen and children’s learning lab, curated library, quiet room, and screening room.
The 26th floor, indoor-outdoor Canopy Club will be Miami Beach’s most luxurious private residential club -- complete with a private Jewel Box bar, specialty dining experience and beverage program curated by top chefs, private dining room, clubroom den, wellness lounge, spa, and fitness center.
Five Park will also be home to an amenity deck on level 6 featuring two pools, poolside services, pool bar and café, expansive sunset terrace, and yoga deck. Level 5 in the building will be dedicated to luxury short-term guest suites, helping residents easily welcome guests for an extended stay. The building will also have electric vehicle carports, bicycle storage, and a dedicated ride-share drop-off zone.
Five Park Miami Beach – Canopy Park and Bridge to Enhance Community
Looking to create a lasting legacy in Miami Beach, the developers will build Canopy Park as a valuable and needed greenspace addition to the South Beach community. Construction of the 3-acre Canopy Park is already in Phase 1 of the project.
The ArqGeo-designed park will be open to the public and feature a host of facilities, including a botanic grove, art installations, a Monstrum children’s playground, outdoor gym, events lawn, retail pavilion, “dry river,” jogging and biking paths, and a dog park.
Phase 3 of the Canopy Park project gets even more interesting. Expected to break ground in 2022, developers will build a Daniel Buren-designed pedestrian bridge crossing over 5th Street at the MacArthur entrance to South Beach. The bridge will feature an interesting play of light through colorful windows, giving residents and visitors an art-inspired walk to South Pointe Park and the Baywalk and the beach.
South Beach – An Address That Doesn’t Need Introductions
Rising next to South Beach’s most exclusive enclaves, Five Park will stand adjacent to the prestigious South of Fifth neighborhood. The exclusive neighborhood represents one of the most luxurious and sought-after addresses in Miami - quietly removed for peaceful living and within easy reach to the scintillating nightlife, beaches, and entertainment that South Beach is best known for.
Living at 500 Alton Road, residents will be within walking distance from some of Miami Beach’s best restaurants such as Joe’s Stone Crab, Planta, Carbone, Prime 112, Santorini, as well as a Publix, Target, and Whole Foods just north. A quick car ride will take them to shopping at Lincoln Road, more restaurants and grocery shopping (including Trader Joe’s) at Sunset Harbour Shops, entertainment along Collins Avenue, and Downtown Miami’s Museum Park plus other key destinations.
