Are you ready for some grand summer fun in Fort Lauderdale? With a good mix of events and festivals this June, you can spend your days indoors or out as the heat turns up.

Joining Pride Month celebrations across the nation, we have a street festival, gallery exhibit, concert, and MODS’ annual event to mark your calendars with. The Bailey Contemporary Arts Center and ArtsPark will be celebrating the spirit of the Caribbean in separate festivals. Bob Ross comes (in spirit) to the Coral Springs Museum. Ringo Starr, Mötley Crüe, and Def Leppard will be live in concert. And, there are plenty of ideas for you to make Father’s Day all the more special this year.

  • Bonnet House Father’s Day Special, June 19. Dads get in free for the day with one full-paid self-guided tour admission – take the opportunity to escape together to another time and era as you explore museum grounds.
  • Fit to be Tied – Father’s Day 5K, June 19. Fitness enthusiast or not, this 5K is for all dads, as they can later indulge in fun video games, great music, entertainment, food, and more at Vista View Park.

‘I Am What I Am: A Tribute to South Florida’s Drag Pioneers’ Exhibit: June 1-30

The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, 2414 East Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale

Celebrating Pride Month with the rest of the country, History Fort Lauderdale will have an interactive presentation on display at the Galleria Mall - all month long. Chronicling the rich history of the art of drag performance, the exhibit will feature a photo wall, video vignette interviews and perspectives, colorful costumes, and more.

Roar & Explore Dinosaurs at MODS: Weekends in June

Featured Creatures Weekend: June 18 & 19
