LeBron James’ Mansion Sells to Mayfair’s Owners for $13.4 Million

A company connected to Mayfair in the Grove’s owner, Timo Kipp and his wife Nathalia Kipp, has officially bought the Coconut Grove mansion previously owned by LeBron James for $13.4 million.
“We’re going to use it as our primary residence,” Timo Kipp said, “We always thought the price was too high and we were able to negotiate it down.” Nathalia Kipp acted as their own broker for the transaction.
The house was put on the market for $17 million back in October of 2014. James purchased the property back in 2010 for $9 million, $8 million less than what he listed it for initially. Unfortunately, with no buyers for a year, James was forced to lower the price by $2 million, then eventually to its current selling price.
The mansion itself, located at 3590 Crystal View Court, is a 12,000 square-foot hoome with a dedicated 4,500 square-foot guest section that houses a lounge and a game room, plus an infinity-edge pool, a kitchen outside, and a concrete dock that can hold two 60-foot yachts. In addition to all of that, the home has a private theatre, office, and wine cellar.
