Among Miami’s signature events is Miami Art Week, during which millions of artists, art exhibitors, and art aficionados from all over the world descend upon our city to experience the world’s most exciting Contemporary and Modern Art.  

This year, Miami Art Week 2024 will take place from December 2-9, 2024, and features a dazzling lineup of international art fairs, setting up shop across the city in various neighborhoods, including Miami BeachCoral GablesWynwoodDowntown Miamithe Miami River, the Design DistrictNorth Miami, and Coconut Grove, with public pop-up exhibits happening at other locations.

The event that started it all, Art Basel is the world’s largest and most prestigious art fair, with editions all over the world, including Basel and Paris. Art Basel Miami Beach is the main attraction of Miami Art Week. This year, Art Basel Miami Beach celebrates its 22nd edition led for the first time by its new director Bridget Finn. Hosting 286 leading galleries from all over the world, including 34 first-time entrants, this year’s Art Basel Miami Beach will host the fair's largest number of new participants since 2008.  

Art Basel Miami Beach showcases leading galleries representing the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Guatemala, Peru, and Uruguay with a program that is divided into sectors, with a specific focus, from monumental art by renowned masters, to solo exhibitions by emerging artists.

Miami’s native and longest-running art fair will be showcasing over 160 top galleries from 21 countries, based in cities such as London, Tokyo, Paris, Brussels, Bogotá, Seoul, Tel Aviv, Hong Kong, as well as cities across the United States, including New York, Los Angeles, Aspen, Houston, and San Francisco, and local Miami South Florida galleries.

Founded by artist Eric Ginsburg, The Fridge Art Fair's main program, WALK-IN FRIDGE, will take place this year at The Wynwood Building, with the theme Fridge Does Freddie: The Freddie Mercury Project: Featuring the Return of the Flamingo, which honors the legendary Freddie Mercury and his influence on world music and culture. As in past years, The Fridge partners with the non-profit collaboARTive, and this year, through a new collaboration with ArtBasil.org will focus on sustainability and environmental awareness in the presentation of art.

Founded in 2012, Untitled Art is now celebrating its 12th edition on the shoreline in Miami Beach. With a mission to support the wider art ecosystem, Untitled Art focuses on inclusivity and prioritizes collaboration in every aspect of its programming. The fair supports emerging artists, young galleries, and non-profit organizations through its ‘Nest’ initiative, which offers subsidized booths that help galleries circumvent traditional entry barriers typical of most art fairs. 

Untitled Art was also the first to launch an online fair, and invests continuously in new technologies to make it easier for common, everyday people to collect contemporary art. Untitled Art is also a member of the Gallery Climate Collation and works closely with the City of Miami Beach to keep its environmental impact at zero.
