Jun 01, 2022 June 01, 2022
As summer peaks with a solstice on the 21st, so do June’s hottest events. As high-season crowds taper off, more venues open up to welcome locals with special Hotel Months discounts and a healthy mix of events around town.
This June, we’re focusing on showing Dad some love for Father’s Day with our special curation of events. The American Black Film Festival and Summer Shorts make a comeback to satiate all your cultural cravings. Pride Month celebrations take over the Brickell City Centre, CocoWalk, Vizcaya, and Wynwood.
And there are plenty of art exhibits to choose from, too – including at PAMM, the Deering Estate, and the Lowe Art Museum. Machine Gun Kelly will be in town at the FTX. And, multiple Juneteenth celebrations provide a great window into the rich and vibrant cultural progress of the African American community.
