WalletHub ranks four South Florida cities the 2014 list of best cities to start a business.
Since the taxes in the Miami area are well-known for their business-friendly breaks, many businesses find the South Florida area to be a great place to start. Apparently, a study done over many cities agrees with the populous.
Miami ranks number 57 out of 150 cities to make the list. Other cities in the South Florida area include Pembroke Pines in 63rd, Fort Lauderdale at 86th, and Hialeah coming in at 108th.
The list was ranked by the opportunity of businesses to start in the 150 largest cities in the United States by population. The study used 14 different criteria, including affordability of office space, labor force, education, and new business survival rate.
