Miami’s Best Restaurants - Edgewater

Welcome to Blackbook Properties' Neighborhood Restaurant video series, where we will feature the best restaurants in Miami's favorite neighborhoods! Starting off, let's satisfy that sweet tooth over at Lulu's Nitrogen Ice Cream in Edgewater... 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌?!

What’s Miami’s Edgewater Neighborhood Like?

Miami has many amazing neighborhoods, all equalling alluring and dynamic with varied waterfront living options, diverse cultural appeal and of course, amazing weather year-round.

But one neighborhood that seems to shine a little brighter than the rest is Edgewater, and one reason for its appeal is its LOCATION! It’s right on the water, has an incredible park as its backyard, is central to all of Miami and has great dining options, just like Lulu’s Nitrogen Ice Cream!

Edgewater’s out-of-the-way waterfront location on the eastern side of Biscayne Boulevard means that this neighborhood receives little tourism and is best known as a residential enclave where growing families and urban professionals can enjoy a serene lifestyle. It has incredibly easy access to everything that makes Miami exceptional, including the offerings that Downtown Miami is known for, a quick commute to Brickell and its Financial District, as well as a scenic bike or car ride to South Beach in just 10 minutes.

Edgewater also boasts spectacular access to the arts, with its proximity to the FTX Arena (formerly the American Airlines Arena), where amazing concerts as well as sports events take place. And if you like the arts, well you can walk to check the shows at the nearby Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, in addition to the art and science museums of Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) and the Frost Science Museum. And you’re 10 minutes from the galleries in Wynwood and the Design District.

When looking for a home in Miami, two of the most popular areas you’ll often hear mentioned are Brickell and Coral Gables. While Brickell is a neighborhood in the City of Miami, under City of Miami governance, Coral Gables is a separate municipality entirely, with its own municipal government, school district, police, and so on.   These areas offer diverse housing options, as well as distinctly different lifestyles and local flavor even though both are considering part of the larger Miami area. We’ve provided our neighborhood comparison of these two popular areas based on a list of factors and considerations to help you determine which of the two would be most likely to be your ideal home.  Lifestyle: Brickell vs Coral Gables Photo courtesy of Maciek Lulko on Flickr Brickell is a busy urban area that has earned the nickname “Manhattan of the South.”  An ideal location for those who love urban living, workaholics who want to live where they work, and upscale professionals who love to...

Brickell Avenue Condos for Sale: The Ultimate List
Real Estate News Brickell Avenue Condos for Sale: The Ultimate List
Condos with a prestigious Brickell Avenue address have always been high in demand. Why? Because living in Brickell means residents are right in the middle of the second-largest business and banking center in the U.S. that is also the biggest gateway to businesses in Latin America.  Not to forget, with the recent business exodus from Silicon Valley and up North, Brickell is now home to a majority of influential offices in South Florida, and is also fondly nicknamed “Wall Street of the South.” Sandwiched between S. Miami Avenue and the dazzling waters of Biscayne Bay, Brickell Avenue begins at the mouth of the Miami River and stretches down to the Rickenbacker Causeway. This somewhat 1.7-mile-long stretch is bordered by several consulates, foreign offices, financial institutions, schools, fine restaurants, bars, a marina, a Metromover station, and of course, the Bay – making it a true live-work-play environment fit for young professionals and families alike. Here’s a list of things you...
