The Ritz-Carlton in South Beach is proposed to gain a brand-new condo tower as part of the renovation of the historic Sagamore Hotel next door. Developer Di Lido Beach Resort LLC with a team of others plan on demolishing the 5-story cabana building behind the Sagamore, replacing it with a 17-story luxury tower with 50 condo residences. The cantilevering, oceanfront tower comes designed by Miami’s prolific Kobi Karp. Along with the hotel’s amenities, residents would gain access to newly built pools, water features, open-air walkways, plus a beachfront outdoor dining area set behind the hotel.

Breathing new life into South Brickell’s quaint waterfront, the St. Regis Residences will be the Related Group’s most expensive project to date. Designed by the internationally-acclaimed Robert A.M.
