New Construction Miami Condos You Can Move into in 2023

New Construction Miami Condos You Can Move into in 2023

Jan 20, 2023 January 20, 2023

It’s no secret that Miami is in the middle of a major building boom and there are quite a few luxury condo buildings that you’ll be able to move into this year, 2023. So, if you love being the first to turn the key on your crisp, new luxury condo, keep reading. (Psst, we also have a bonus list of all the condos you can expect to move into in 2024 at the end!)

With about 52 new pre-construction condos (and counting) in the pipeline since 2021, Miami developers have been on the fast track to deliver on the growing demand for luxury condos in the Magic City, especially condos on the water or condo buildings with water views. When most of the global housing market was showing signs of a slowdown in the thick of the pandemic, Miami’s luxury condo market witnessed accelerated growth. Following the business migration trends that started somewhere around 2020, Miami has had a huge influx of wealthy families, C-suite executives, and other well-paid employees moving base to our tax-friendly shores.

What do buyers want in a new construction of Miami condos?

The number one trend we are seeing buyers looking for in new Miami condos are larger floorplans (think single-family home size) with, preferably, easy access to any kind of waterfront.

Buyers today also want luxe living with world-class amenities - five-star hotel quality amenities. Things like rooftop helipads, luxury brand affiliations, chef-powered restaurants, and a whole gamut of wellness features.

The third trend we are seeing buyers looking for in new Miami condos is short-term rental options. Buyers and investors want flexible rental policies to make the most of their time and money when away from home.

New Construction Miami Condo Trends for 2023:

  • Large floor plans (2,000 square feet and bigger)
  • Premium locations that are either waterfront or very walkable
  • Resort-like Amenities & Five-Star Service
  • Wellness Features & Family Focused
  • Short-Term Rental Options & Management Services

The good news is Miami’s new construction market has something for everyone. Though it will take a while to deliver most of the condos announced over the past two years, if you’re looking to buy a brand-new luxury condo in Miami or Miami Beach in 2023, here are the best brand new Miami residences for you to choose from:

The Top 10 Tallest Buildings in Miami You Can Live In
Real Estate News The Top 10 Tallest Buildings in Miami You Can Live In
If you’ve been visiting Miami over the years, you’ve probably noticed that the buildings keep getting taller. Ever since the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) upped its height restrictions to 1,049 feet in 2015, Miami’s skyline has continued to elevate itself with glimmering designs of glass and light. The tallest residential building in Miami, as of this post, is the apartment high-rise Panorama Tower at 828 feet. Considering we’re only ranking the tallest condo buildings in Miami, you won’t find the skyscraper on this list. And as new condo towers are announced constantly, Panorama Tower will soon be forfeiting its Tallest Miami Building title to one of the planned supertalls in development listed down below. Call them #supertalls or #skyscrapers, this new breed of condo tower (at least for Miami) is set to redefine the city’s skyline and take luxury living and the Magic City to new heights, bringing it on par with New York City, Chicago, Hong Kong, and so on. So, which Miami...
