Calling all fashionistas: as Miami Beach Convention Center gets into Fashion Week mode mid-May, get ready to rub shoulders with the tastemakers of the world as this ultra-glamorous event, its social galas and after-parties take over Miami Beach for four whole days.
Set along the sultry shores of Miami Beach, this trendsetting event brings out the glitterati, the wannabes and everyone in between for a bold dose of fashion. Not only does this four-day event provide an innovative platform for South Florida-based talent, but it also showcases designers from as far as Latin America, the Caribbean, UAE, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Italy and even the UK.
Founded by Beth Sobol in 1999, Miami Fashion Week’s exciting lineup includes an official kick-off party, workshops and master classes by renowned style makers. International showcases, a swimwear spectacle and a rocking wrap party make up the framework for a plethora of events. Pop-up boutiques and a wedding pavilion have become must-see affairs.
While a daily pop-up boutique pass would cost you $20+tax, admission for a single showcase is $50. You could definitely turn up the heat by upgrading to a Silver or Gold ticket. And if you really want to be treated like royalty then a $500 VIP Platinum pass will get you into fashion heaven.
