First, let’s take a look at the neighborhood itself.

— Why Choose Edgewater, Miami?

It is one of the hottest Miami neighborhoods right now for several reasons:

  1. It’s close to everything. Living in Edgewater, the arts and culture venues of Downtown Miami are around the corner, while top shopping venues, like The Shops at Midtown Miami, the world-class art, dining, and cafés of Wynwood, and the stellar design plus luxury brands of the Design District are all within a five to ten-minute drive. To top it off,  you’re ten minutes from Brickell’s financial center and the incredible shops at Brickell City Centre, and ten minutes from South Beach via the scenic Venetian Causeway.

  2. It’s a waterfront neighborhood. Sitting on the edge of Biscayne Bay, this family-friendly neighborhood offers incredible views for miles, particularly of Biscayne Bay and further to the ocean if you’re on a higher floor, as well as all of Miami. Edgewater is a complete waterfront community with a great walk score and a higher-than-average public transit service with a Metromover stop and free Trolley service. It also has a great number of restaurants and cafés within walking distance.

  3. Great for outdoor activities. The neighborhood is home to the eight-acre, waterfront, and dog-friendly Margaret Pace Park, which is popular among fitness lovers for its bayfront jogging paths, tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, dog parks for both small and big pups, and drop-in points for basic watersports like paddle boarding or kayaking.

  4. Incredible new construction options in Edgewater. Recent interest in the neighborhood has brought top design names from around the world to build condos at different price points (more on those pre-construction names below). In fact, in 2023, Edgewater was the 4th best neighborhood in Miami, and from an investor and market standpoint, Edgewater is performing exceptionally well within the Greater Downtown Miami neighborhoods

So, if this sounds like your dream neighborhood, here are the top five most luxurious condo buildings in Edgewater, Miami where you could live!

Shops at Midtown Miami

Edgewater has mostly neighborhood-y, daily life types of shopping options, as opposed to fancy retail options, except for a few boutiques here and there. You can find a nice Publix at 18th and Biscayne, a Trader Joe’s in Midtown, and a few pharmacies around the neighborhood. You will also find Starbucks down at the Publix, and another on NE 30th Street, plus several coffee shops and cafes (as listed above).

Finally, Brickell City Centre is a few minutes' drive away and has a wider selection of feel-good and European luxury retail.

The Best Located Condo in Edgewater, Miami

Aria on the Bay

Naming just one well-located building in Edgewater is tough as this is a tight, well-connected neighborhood. However, considering direct access to nature, ample parking space, and an easy walk to the grocery store, we’re biased to pick
Aria on the Bay. This waterfront condo building built in 2018 stands across from the lush Margaret Pace Park, is a block away from Publix, and is only a block-and-a-half away from the Metromover station and the Venetian Causeway to Miami Beach.

Some honorable mentions include Biscayne Beach, the Paraiso District’s Gran Paraiso, "One Paraiso" seems to be a phrase or a name of something or someone. Without any further context, it's difficult to determine its meaning., Paraiso Bayviews, and Paraiso Bay since they are waterfront and an easier walk to Midtown and the Design District.

With this last recommendation ends our recount of the best buildings in Edgewater! If you would like more information on the neighborhood or any of these projects, give us a call or email anytime, or browse through our selection and we’ll be happy to guide you on your search.
