— Why Choose Sunny Isles Beach?

Sunny Isles

Sunny Isles Beach’s pristine white-sand shoreline and casual, family-oriented vibe have always made it a top choice for those looking for exclusive living away from the city core.
Its resort-style properties make it the ultimate luxe place, even by Miami cost of living standards, which could seem expensive but it really aren’t considering what you get when you buy here.

It has a tight community of like-minded, ex-pats from all over the world, whether as second homeowners or permanent residents. This makes it a cultural melting pot where you’ll find notable Eastern European and Latin American influences since the majority of the Sunny Isles’ population comes from one of these two backgrounds.

If you enjoy the outdoors, there are plenty of options like the Newport Fishing Pier to drop a line for fishing, the Haulover Beach Park for water sports and boating, and the Oleta River State Park for kayaking and biking.

Further, with world-class shopping close by at the Shops at Bal Harbour or over the bridge at Aventura Mall, and the fun and frolic of Miami Beach just 35 minutes away, it’s no wonder this stretch of Collins Avenue is one of the most desirable addresses in town.

Now, here are the top five buildings where you can find the best Sunny Isles Beach condos for sale:

— Quick Facts About Sunny Isles Beach

How Safe is Sunny Isles Beach?

If you ask most people what living in Sunny Isles Beach is like, and how safe they feel, most would say they feel safe, and our clients agree. Sunny Isles Beach also cores big on safety with an “A+” on areavibes.com. Our opinion on this urban community is the same since residents rarely experience any crime and the police in the area are pretty responsive, too.

Perhaps this is why it ranks 6th on the “Best Suburbs for Young Professionals in the Miami Area” according to the 2024 survey on niche.com. It also gets “A” for Nightlife, “A” for Diversity, “A-” in Good for Families, and “B” for its access to Public Schools. It is also close to one of Miami’s best private schools, Miami Country Day School, where children of celebrities like Shakira and Messi go to school.

— Shopping in Sunny Isles Beach

Aventura Mall
Aventura Mall

Residents of the above
Sunny Isles condo buildings have some shopping options at the RK Centers mall, offering basic options for casual dining, services, and necessities. The mall is known for its collection of established brands, supermarkets, a Starbucks, a CVS, plus a variety of cuisines. Right next to it, there is a Publix supermarket. It’s a very walkable area if you need to run a few errands but, generally, we’d recommend having a car handy to get to other parts of Miami.

For example, for more serious shopping, you can easily drive 10 minutes across the causeway to the Aventura Mall or head south to the upscale Bal Harbour Shops, a 15-minute drive. Further, Brickell City Centre is about 35 minutes away.

Real Estate News All the Bay Harbor Islands Pre-construction Condo Projects You Need to Know About
The once sleepy bayfront town of Bay Harbor Islands, sandwiched between Miami Beach and mainland Miami, is undergoing a renaissance. This small neighborhood has recently come alive with a flurry of new construction activity, as old 1950s buildings, past their prime, are bought and cleared for new, boutique, waterfront condos. Clean, quiet, and pristine, this almost forgotten piece of Miami real estate had stood unnoticed for way too long, considering the building boom of the early 2000s skipped over this part of town. With new zoning rules in place and a prime waterfront location, Bay Harbor Islands’ pre-construction projects rival even those from South Beach, offering extra-large floor plans, the quiet luxury of boutique living, and private marinas with ocean access, often at better price points than Miami Beach. Given the recent surge in demand for luxury housing and scarcity of workable waterfront parcels, several big developers are drawn to the area, as South Florida becomes the...
