Where to Watch Fireworks in Fort Lauderdale:
- Star-Spangled Spectacular Celebration on Hollywood Beach, July 4. Anchor down at the beach for a spectacular evening, complete with live entertainment and an offshore fireworks display.
- Fourth of July at Lauderdale by the Sea, July 4. Kicking off with a fun parade, this full-day event will feature lots of family-friendly fun, a giant water slide, a DJ, face painting, hot dogs, and a fireworks display at night.
- 4th of July Spectacular at the LOOP, July 4. This free-to-attend, all-day celebration at the Las Olas Oceanside Park will feature a Kids’ Zone with water slides, live music and entertainment, a B and B experience, eating contests, and of course, a fireworks show.
- 4th of July at the FLA Live Arena, July 4. Hosted by the City of Sunrise, this free event will feature an electrifying concert and fireworks show at night.
- Hallandale Beach: 4th of July Celebration & Fireworks Show at Carousel Club, July 4. This family-friendly affair will feature all-day entertainment, a complimentary red, white or blue cocktail before 6, delicious eats, and cool fireworks at night.

- Chris Tucker, July 14. Promising to leave you in splits but not wanting, Chris Tucker will be in town to provide world-class entertainment.
- Festival Colombiano, July 16. Celebrating Colombia’s Independence Day, this high-energy concert will bring together world-renowned Colombian artists for an exciting evening.
- Steely Dan, July 28. Jazz fans will love tuning into the special rhythms of “Earth after hours” with Steely Dan.

Artist Talk with Megan Hildebrandt: July 1

As part of her "Load We Carry" exhibition, artist Megan Hildebrant will be talking about the creative process behind "The Living Room Rug" exhibit, which is centered around motherhood. The artist will be discussing key elements of her artwork, followed by an open Q&A with the audience.
Conscious Gardening and Permaculture for Your Food Forest: July 2
Museum of Discovery and Science, 401 SW 2nd St, Fort Lauderdale
Thinking of starting your own food forest? Then head to the Museum of Discovery and Science for a special workshop discussing permaculture and biodiversity. As part of the museum’s ‘Food Forest Summer Series,’ participants will learn the different environmental agriculture techniques that can help start their own food forest. There will also be a Food Forest Tour and fun make-and-take activities.

FlockFest 2022: July 9

Have fun while making a difference! Bring your favorite inflatable to Fort Lauderdale Beach and join hundreds of fellow “flockers” as they splash around and have some fun. You can also go VIP and enjoy complimentary food and cocktails, a ready-to-use FlockFest float, a gift bag, and access to a free appreciation party the day before. Whiskey Myers Concert: July 16

Mark your calendar to rock out to this high-voltage concert by Whisky Myers. The band featured on Renée Zellweger-led Netflix series What/If and the hit CBS series SEAL Team is described by UDA Today as “a riff-heavy blend of Southern rock and gritty country that has earned comparisons to the Allman Brothers Band and Led Zeppelin.”
Free Our Seas Weekend: July 16-17
Flamingo Gardens & Wildlife Sanctuary, 3750 S Flamingo Rd, Davie
Head out to view the Free Our Seas’ “Flotsam Fauna” sculpture exhibit made out of 1,000 pounds of marine debris and stick around for great weekend activities. This fun weekend special with a mission to highlight ocean conservation will feature live music by Jimmy Stowe & the Stowaways, a Kids’ Corner with mural activity, information booths, and more.
“Our Canopy” Exhibition: July 22 - October 5
Pompano Beach Cultural Center, 50 W Atlantic Blvd, Pompano Beach
Stroll through this alien forest made of hung quilted textile with hanging limbs to create a canopy. This experiential display comes crafted by artist Jen Clay and will allow visitors to touch the work, while immersing them in a harmonious, white noise soundscape with forest/pine aromas to round out the experience.
Dog Days of Summer: July 22
The LOOP - Las Olas Oceanside Park, 3000 E Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale
Binge on great movies and a picnic under the stars with your furry BFF as you head out to the main lawn at Las Olas Oceanside Park. Playing this month is “Dog Days,” a comedy/drama about the intertwined lives of several L.A. residents and their canine companions.
