The vacant lot located at 2 Indian Creek Island Road has recently sold for $23 million to a corporation linked to Khalid bin Al Saud, who could potentially be linked to Saudi royalty.
The purchased breaks the record for highest price paid for a vacant lot on Indian Creek Island. The buyer was 212A LLC, based out of Boston, of which Al Saud is the owner.
Veronica Cervera Goeseke, the CEO of Cervera Real Estate, is representing the buyer, along with her son Nickel M. Goeseke. She refused to tell the name of the buyer, but did mention that the family will live on the island in a home that will be built soon.
“My son and I were showing them Miami, and we just thought that Indian Creek was ideal for them,” Cervera Goeseke said. After the family saw the island and the surrounding area, they agreed to buy it.
Al Saud has listed his Ritz-Carlton Residences apartment, located at 2 Avery Street #37F, Boston, for $3 million.
The family ruling Saudi Arabia is the Al Saud family. The King of Saudi Arabia, Salmon, is among thousands of family members named Al Saud.
