Top 5 Can’t-Miss Events in Miami in February 2025

Jan 30, 2025 January 30, 2025

February is undoubtedly one of the best times of year to visit Miami. The weather is delightfully perfect, with temperatures ranging between 64°F (18°C) and 78°F (26°C). These mild and sunny days are perfect to enjoy beach outings, sightseeing, and outdoor activities – a wonderful escape from the cold winters and snow in most other parts of the country. (There’s a reason Florida snowbirds are called snowbirds, after all!)

Miami also tends to have fewer crowds in February compared to the peak tourist seasons of winter and spring break. This means you'll find more space to relax on the beaches, shorter lines at popular attractions, and a more peaceful atmosphere overall to create lasting memories.

Another highlight of visiting Miami this time of year is the fantastic lineup of events. There’s something for everyone, from chefs kiss food festivals to Instagram-worthy art shows, cultural experiences, sports entertainment, and romantic getaways.

Without further ado, here’s our pick of the best Miami events this month!

February 1-2: Life Time Miami Marathon and Half Marathon

Starts at Kaseya Center, 601 Biscayne Blvd, Downtown Miami

Life Time Miami Marathon and Half Marathon

Join international athletes and enthusiastic spectators from around the world for one of the most iconic endurance events of the year. With a picturesque course that captures the essence of Miami, runners enjoy breathtaking ocean views, Art Deco gems, and iconic landmarks as they compete for the finish line.

On February 1st, the family-friendly Tropical 5K kicks off the marathon weekend and serves as a warm-up for participants with its 3.1-mile route. The main events unfold on the 2nd as bold runners take on the ultimate challenge of the Full Marathon.

The Boston-qualifying route features a perfectly flat, 26.2-mile, single-loop course, which is the star of the show. The more popular Half Marathon covers 13.1 scenic miles along the same route and finishes at the same line as the full marathon but with a deviation.

There’s also a Kids Run and loads of en-route entertainment by popular bands and DJs to keep everyone cheering in true Miami style. You won’t want to miss this spectacular event that embodies the spirit of Miami's diverse and energetic community.
