Miami Bahamas Goombay Festival returns in all its glory, bringing Grand Avenue to life with live music, Junkanoo parades, family-friendly programming, and authentic island cuisine. 

Founded in 1977, this is one of South Florida’s longest-running cultural festivals and a beloved neighborhood tradition. This year’s festivities take place over the first weekend of June and include performances by Keke Wyatt, Ball Greezy, and a host of regional artists lighting up the “Local Love Stage.”

Hosted at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, the evening begins with a sunset trolley tour of the scenic grounds, followed by refreshments and the event’s signature Royal Poinciana Punch. In its 88th year, the Royal Poinciana Fiesta is one of Miami’s oldest continuously running cultural traditions.
