They will be everything but “standard!” Marking the playful, boutique hospitality brand’s first-ever residential venture, The Standard Residences will deliver 228 pied-à-terre style condos in a 12-story building in the heart of Midtown Miami. A collaboration between Rosso Development, Midtown Development and Standard International, the dynamic building will look to turn the concept of luxury living in Miami on its head – just like its eponymous hotel’s have done to the hospitality industry (and its logo).

Sep Niakan, Founder of Blackbook Properties and CondoBlackbook.com talks to Ann Nortmann with The Standard Residences Midtown for a closer look into the world’s first residential venture by the New York-based hospitality brand.

The Standard Residences: Create Your Standard of Living

The Standard - Rooftop Pool

Designed by Miami’s award-winning Arquitectonica, this 12-story condo building will be built to defy conventions and up the aesthetic and experience stakes in Midtown – much in line with the hospitality brand’s ethos. The building will feature a premium collection of studios, one-bedrooms, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom residences.

Launched in December 2021, prices at The Standard Residences start at about $500,000 and up. Owners at this Midtown building will be allowed to rent units for a minimum of 30 days, up to 12 times a year. As a nod to the nomadic lifestyle afforded by work-from-home flexibility, owners will further have access to a “Friends with Benefits” program, affording them preferred pricing at all The Standard hotel properties in the world.

Featuring interiors by Urban Robot, future residents will enjoy coming home to a refined pied-à-terre experience complete with open floor plans, nine-foot-high ceilings, lots of natural light indoors, private outdoor terraces, open-concept kitchens with top-of-the-line appliances, custom bathrooms with double vanities, premium wood-inspired flooring throughout, and more bespoke touches.

The Standard in Midtown Miami

The Standard - Terrace

Known for its pedestrian-friendly vibe, bustling sidewalks and central, urban location, developers of The Standard Residences chose Midtown Miami to reflect a SOHO-kind of feel. Residents will enjoy having everything within walking distance, including the famous shopping and dining destination of Shops at Midtown Miami, the eclectic couture jungle of Design District, and the street art activations of Wynwood. By car, Downtown’s popular performing arts center, museums, and FTX Arena will be 10 minutes, South Beach’s beautiful beaches will be 20 minutes, and Brickell’s financial district will also be 20 minutes.
