Watson Island is progressing with the awaited project that was planned 13 years ago. The project, titled “Island Gardens,” will begin construction this summer.
Island Gardens, developed by Flagstone Property Group, is a much anticipated mixed-use project that will cost $640 million to create. The project will include a five-star hotel, a four-star lifestyle hotel, fractional ownership residences, retail spaces, and restaurant spaces for a grand mixture of uses by many publics.
Flagstone Property Group received much support and recognition for the project by attracting the Yacht & Brokerage Show to have their event location there. After Island Gardens is finished, the Deep Harbour marina will host the annual “Superyacht Miami” event, showcasing mega-yachts over 150 feet in length.
Altogether, the project to develop Island Gardens is coming together nicely, according to consultants for the project, and will begin in this coming summer.
