Alex Rodriguez, slugger for the New York Yankees, profited about $500,000 on the sale of his Miami Beach condo.
Rodriguez sold his Mei condo unit for around $2.6 million after buying it for $2.1 million the year before. The 5875 Collins Avenue condo, located on the 11th-floor of Mei condo building, contains a 1,725 square-foot unit with three bedrooms.
The asking price for Rodriguez’s condo was $3.2 million in December of 2013.
The buyer of Rodriguez’s condo was represented by Pablo Buttice, who did not disclose the identity of his client. However, Buttice mentioned that the buyer is a current owner of another unit at Mei, but wanted a larger unit.
The Yankees slugger has reported being interested in a bigger Miami Beach residence.
Alex Rodriguez is currently serving a 162 game suspension from Major League Baseball for his use of performance enhancing drugs.
