W South Beach Condo 1st Quarter 2012 Sales Report

Nearly 45% of the 408 units of the W South Beach Condos have been sold to buyers as of March 31, 2012, this according to the data from Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser’s Office.

As of the end of 1st quarter of 2012, W South Beach sales exceeded $265 million. The typical transaction was approximately $1,840 per square foot.

For the 1st quarter of 2012 alone, buyers paid over $20 million for 10 units at W South Beach. For the period of January to March 2012, the average price for the W South Beach units sold was approximately $2,120 per square foot. Within this period, individual transactions ranged from $1,460 per square foot to more than $3,140 per square foot.

All of the 408 residences at W South Beach have oceanfront view. With top rated in-house restaurants, boutique shops, nightlife destinations, popular gym, spa, basketball and tennis courts, no wonder W South Beach is called the “oceanfront oasis home.”
