Negotiations Underway with Beckham for Proposed Soccer Stadium

Miami soccer fans may be able to cheer on their home team in a new stadium sooner than expected.

Negotiations are expected to begin in earnest between David Beckham, his investors, and Miami-Dade County. A private meeting between Mayor Carlos Gimenez and Miami Beckham United.

A list of 30 potential sites for the new stadium will be discussed during the meeting, according to the county.

Among the sites under consideration is a section of county-owned land situated near PortMiami, although the precise location for the proposed new stadium is part of an ongoing discussion. An announcement regarding the franchise's expansion could be announced as early as next week.
