Whole Foods Opening January 14 in Downtown Miami

by Sep Niakan | January 13, 2015

Miami will be getting healthier soon, as Whole Foods has recently announced their plans to open a string of their signature health food stores in downtown Miami.

The first new store will be located in Met 3 and will house 41,000 square-feet of retail space for their quality, organic foods. The opening date for the new store is January 14, 2015.

In addition, Whole Foods is opening an additional three stores in South florida over a six week period in the beginning of 2015. The first of these four stores is the one in downtown Miami.

There is currently a Publix health food store in the downtown area, which is the only competition in the area.

In Met 3, above the new Whole Foods store, a 462-unit rental building is under construction, called Monarc.
