Ronaldo Luis Nazário, the former soccer star simply known as Ronaldo, is planning to create a new stadium and soccer academy in Broward, and is prospecting possible sites.
As one of the owners of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, Ronaldo, along with Ricardo Geromel and investor Carlos “Wizard” Martins, rode on a helicopter to look for new sites for the soccer team’s new stadium.
The ownership group for the Strikers is looking for a new permanent home in the area, as well as opening a soccer academy on top of it all in the Broward area.
“We have a beautiful project,” Martins said. “I’m one of the investors to develop a chain of academies, not only in South Florida but around the United States.”
