The Star Island mansion owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan, known as “Nena’s Villa,” has been put up on the market for $40 million.
The mansion, located at 1 Star Island Drive, Miami Beach, has not been on the market in 22 years. The 1.34-acre estate was last sold in November 1993 for $1.84 million.
Nena’s Villa consists of the house, constructed in 1940, and a guest house built in 1995. The main house has over 4,700 square-feet of space, with four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The guest house has almost 2,700 square-feet of space, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Jill Eber and Jill Hertzberg, known as “the Jills” of Coldwell Banker, are taking care of the listing.
“The property is phenomenal,” Eber said, “it’s a just-under 60,000-square-foot lot, with 240 feet on the bay with spectacular views to downtown and the bay.” Eber also mentioned that the landscaping for the property is “magnificent,” and Hertzberg added that “you can create whatever you want with this property.”
