The Latin American Art Museum (LAAM) made it to the front page of CNN as one of the most anticipated museums in the world.
Amongst some international museums on the list, LAAM was featured as a feat of architecture and was a great inspiration. Other museums on the list included the Tate Modern Project in London, Lourve in Abu Dhabi, MUDEC in Milan, and the Smithsonian Institution in New York.
Coming in 2016, the LAAM will contain what you might imagine: Latin American art. Later on in the project, there will also be a few apartments. The building will contain 90,000 square-feet of space, and be opening on Biscayne Boulevard.
Mexican architect, Fernando Romero of FR-EE, will be designing the project. The structure he is designing will utilize the climate and naturally circulate the air, which will also give open access to the sea, the sun, and the nature surrounding.
