New “Sugar” Lounge Revealed for Brickell City Centre’s EAST Hotel

New “Sugar” Lounge Revealed for Brickell City Centre’s EAST Hotel

by Sep Niakan | June 24, 2015

Swire Properties, developers of the billion dollar Brickell City Centre, has begun construction on a rooftop bar and lounge of their quickly finishing EAST hotel.

Construction filings reveal that the new restaurant will be on the 40th floor of EAST, and will be called Sugar. EAST is the first out of the many towers at the City Centre to top off construction. Some believe that the Sugar lounge will be similar to the one in the EAST hotel in Hong Kong, which has an excellent view of the harbor there.

When EAST finally opens to the public, it will include 255 rooms, 8 suites, and 89 serviced apartments. Each room will be complete with a balcony and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay or the city.

EAST is not opening reservations for now, but will announce it when they do.
