Miami Fashion Film Festival 2015 – Movies A la Mode!

by Sep Niakan | August 27, 2015

All you stylish people rejoice! This September, the Miami Fashion Film Festival is back for a third to treat you to two unadulterated days of fashion in film. From documentaries to brand and experimental shorts, classics and style-filled movies that have inspired trends, you’ll get a chance to get up close and personal with the story of fashion.

Celebrating films and filmmakers who’ve creatively studied the art, culture and business of fashion on the local and worldwide scale, this fest is a must-catch for every fashionista. The showcase will take place from the 16th-17th of Sept., at the Miami Beach Cinematheque.

Specially curated for fashion lovers, the official selections this year include Peyote Dreams, Anaak, Silver Girl, X- Coco De Mer, Lure, Defiance, The Date, Redduction, The Journey, Velvet Karma, Homeward and more.

That’s not all! Get the inside scoop as you have the opportunity to engage in a conversation on the opportunities and challenges that youth, women and professionals face in the industry. Taking the conversation further is ‘Fashion Inspires More’. Benefitted by the festival, this nonprofit is dedicated to expanding the fashion dialogue via art, technology and education.

So, bring along that selfie stick and get ready to strut your stuff at the most stylish cine fest of the year!
