Unleash the child within and gear up for 21 days of unlimited fun as the Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo is just round the corner. The largest fair in Florida is ‘Celebrating 65 Years of Smiles’ this year. Hosted in Tamiami Park, its home since 1972, the fair will be on March 17 through April 10 on 86 acres of sprawling grounds.
A family tradition for most, the erstwhile Youth Fair is Miami’s most iconic! After all it boasts of more than 90 heart-pounding rides, 2 giant Kiddielands, games, unique student exhibits, live concerts, blockbuster shows, thrilling European-style circus, one-of-a-kind World of Agriculture, livestock and agricultural competitions, outrageous assortment of food, and so much more. It truly is a great way to create springtime memories with friends and family.
Presented by Ford, The Coca-Cola Company and Sedano's Supermarkets, opening day this time will feature fireworks, a parade and pig races. This year’s 21-day entertainment lineup includes a ‘Celebration on Ice’ ice skating show, “The Pirates of the Sky Stunt Show”, Light Up The Night Robots, 800-1,000 lbs. Butter Sculpture, 1-ton Sand Sculpture, Laser Show, The Royal Hanneford Circus, Tadpole & Katie the Clowns, Show-Me Safari Petting Zoo, Pony Rides and much more. Promising to be nothing short of a spectacle to remember, this epic fair is a must-see for locals and tourists alike.
