Gearing Up For FIFA Finals And Second Half Of The Year!
by Sep Niakan | July 08, 2018
FIFA 2018 has been one headline-gripping event full of shockers. From Germany’s unexpected exit to Argentina losing out to Croatia, it’s been a rollercoaster so far!
As soccer talk buzzes through the air, I can’t help but notice how wonderful it is to see these matches bring people together. Whether you’re rooting for a personal favorite or a friend or colleague’s national team, it’s great how the world cup has given us some moments to slow down and cheer. It comes as a positive relief in a world where things have, unfortunately, gone a bit negative with a lot of political nonsense going back and forth. Events like the Olympics, World Cups, Tournaments, etc. come as a real breath of fresh air, giving us the opportunity to enjoy life together and live in the moment.
Talking about living in the now, we’re smack in the middle of the year. This time of year can seem sluggish to most, especially with the heat at its peak. However, for me it’s a great time to reflect. It comes as a reminder to take note of all that I’ve accomplished and get started on the goals I am yet to achieve. Some of the best things that add to the mix of summers in Miami are Spa Month, the Fourth of July weekend and Miami Swim Week. Here’s a full list of events to help you find your mid-year motivation too.
Also, don’t forget to share which team you’re rooting for this World Cup. Any and all predictions from computers to octopuses are most welcome!
