Wynwood Square, a new, large, mixed-use project, is coming to 2201 North Miami Avenue soon.
One Real Estate Investment LLC, based out of Brickell, has submitted plans recently for Wynwood Square. They purchased a 1.78-acre property in 2015 for $15 million. They also hired Stantec as the architect for the project.
According to their plans, Wynwood Square will be 12-stories tall, with 267 residential units, over 55,000 square-feet of office space, more than 25,000 square-feet of commercial space, and will be able to park 482 cars in their parking lot.
The Design Review Committee, which is a newly created local governing body in Wynwood, has looked over the plans, and will soon determine if they will pass on a recommendation to the Urban Development Review Board, who will then pass on their opinion to the Planning and Zoning Department.
