A new, strangely designed Walgreens is opening their doors in Brickell. Its design can only be described as state-of-the-art or ultramodern.
Walgreens purchased a one-acre property, located at 296 SW 7th Street, two blocks from the Brickell City Centre project, for $10 million. The sale of the project’s property closed in early March.
Paradise Ventures’ project developer, George Kidman, hired Architectural designers Robert Brown and Frank Demandt from Demandt Architecture to design the layout and trendy look of the project. Demandt Architecture led three similar projects for Walgreens in Miami Beach designing the strange but trendy Walgreens stores. One of these Walgreens is still in construction in Miami Beach.
