Aman Hotel & Residences: Waterfront, Aman-branded luxury with a restored, historic ‘Versailles’ Hotel in the culturally-significant Faena District
Restoring the iconic Versailles Hotel built in 1940 to its former glory and more will be the two-building Aman Hotel and Residences. Approved for a height of 250 feet above ground, this iconic project is set to deliver the globally-recognized hospitality known of Aman. With a Sanskrit-derived name translating to ‘peace’, the luxury resort brand is famous for revitalizing UNESCO heritage sites into modern properties that preserve these iconic buildings and organically blend into their surroundings.
President and CEO of the OKO Group + Singapore-based Aman, Vladislav Doronin partners with Access Industries’ Len Blavatnik for this unique luxury venture in Miami. Envisioned by Revuelta Architecture, the oceanfront condo property is set to feature a 16-story condo tower with 41 spacious units averaging 2,450 square feet. The renovated hotel side will feature 56 hotel rooms and 23 luxury condos.
The hotel concept will be designed by Jean Michel Gathy celebrated for his ultra-luxury hospitality design, interiors, and landscape. The condo tower will be designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma known for his sustainable structures and esthetic use of wood.
Living in this premium-managed complex, residents will have the option to take part in the hotel management program for short-term rentals. Aman Miami Beach residents will also gain access to the condo tower’s ground-floor restaurant, hotel-condo’s expansive rooftop deck with restaurant and bar, plus much more.
Located in the iconic Faena District, the Aman Hotel and Residences will tower over a sugar-sand beachfront in Mid-Beach. The culturally-significant district is home to the curated Faena Bazaar, the art and event venue of Faena Forum, the 5-star Faena Hotel, and the as well as other prestigious condos. Residents will also be minutes from South Beach’s destination beaches, nightlife, shopping at Lincoln Road, and year-round cultural events.
Units expected to average 2,450 square feet in size and be priced at over $2,000/sq. ft.
