Dolce & Gabbana Residences Miami: First-Ever D&G Condo Likely in Brickell

All eyes are on Miami as Dolce & Gabbana has announced is will partner for its first-ever luxury brand condo residences. 

Instead of the runway, you’ll find this one parked in Brickell, as the Italian fashion powerhouse partners with Michael Stern’s JDS Development to build its first-ever luxury condo tower.

Confirming its expansion into luxury real estate via a LinkedIn post this July, the Italian luxury brand announced that it will be developing three residential projects world-wide – one each in Miami, Marbella, Spain, along with a hospitality venture in the Maldives.

Delivering the ultimate fusion of fashion and real estate in a luxury condo tower, the Italian clothing brand will likely partner with JDS on its ultra-luxury project in development currently named 888 Brickell. The 1,049-foot supertall was previously expected to be a Major Food Group tower, with five floors of restaurant concepts before talks fell through last year. 

New York-based JDS Development is already approved to build an 82-story, 259-unit luxury condo tower at 888 Brickell Avenue. While not completely confirmed, Dolce & Gabbana’s announcement would seem to be related to this tower, especially considering its already determined level of luxury and aesthetic. 

Designed by Studio Sofield in collaboration with ODP, JDS’ supertall will exude Gatsby-style energy and opulence. Featuring a gold leaf-trimmed porte cochere, an ivory travertine façade, and high-gloss steel columns, we expect D&G, known to bring high glam and drama to any scenario, will only add to the condo tower’s exquisite vibe.

Last heard, JDS Development planned to launch sales by Fall 2023 and break ground on its luxury supertall by year-end. Prices were previously expected to range from $1.6 million to $11 million, with a choice of one- to four-bedroom residences.

Catering to a younger demographic and discerning tastes, the supertall will also be home to a spa with mineral pool and champagne pool, an F1 simulator, a golf simulator, a boxing area, a paddle court, a cigar room, a wine storage, an event space, and more.

More details on how Dolce & Gabbana will further elevate the style quotient at JDS’ supertall are yet to be revealed. The interest is growing strong, as the benefits of buying a preconstruction condo are numerous.
