Announcing its first branded residential project in the U.S., Mercedes-Benz will now have a “towering” presence in Miami. After the successful debut of the Porsche Design Tower, near-complete Aston Martin Residences, and under-construction Bentley Residences, one of the world's oldest carmakers is gearing up to elevate condo living in Brickell with Mercedes-Benz Places.
Developed by JDS Development Group, the company behind Echo Brickell, Monad Terrace, and 888 Brickell by Dolce and Gabbana, Mercedes-Benz Places will offer 791 luxurious residences set in a 67-story high-rise. Located at 191 S.W. 12th St., the mixed-use tower will also deliver 200,000 square feet of office/health and fitness facilities plus a 174-key Treehouse Hotel. Adding to the future-ready appeal of the project, developer JDS Group will be improving the 2-acre Southside Park next door.
Prices at Mercedes-Benz Places start at a very competitive $550,000 for a studio and go up to about $4 million for a three-bedroom. The condo tower should be move-in ready by 2027.

Designed by the award-winning SHoP Architects in collaboration with ODP, Mercedes-Benz Places will deliver on the brand’s design philosophy of “Sensual Purity.” With a unique stacked-box profile, the tower will stand out on the horizon as a beacon of excellence, innovation, and timeless presence — all signature of Mercedes-Benz.
Embracing free-flowing lines and shimmering silver tones – the prominent color is technical silver with black and white accents throughout – the tower will reflect the duality of emotion and intelligence. While its elliptical lines will represent the emotional side of its design philosophy, its interplay on cube-shaped bodies will reflect the intelligence, more technical side, creating a facade unlike that anything on Miami’s skyline. These contrasting principles create clear forms and sensuous surfaces so present in German and Bauhaus design.Further demonstrating the German car manufacturer's commitment to excellence and anticipation of future needs, the tower will be crafted using sustainable building methods and materials.
Each of the units in this luxury skyscraper will carry stunning interiors by the globally acclaimed Woods Bagot as a nod to the project’s theme of “Timeless Design, Inspired by Miami.” As a resident, you can expect intelligent urban living spaces with spacious balconies, enhanced by aerodynamically curved corners that will help capture the Florida sun in a variety of ways. Proving their further commitment to balanced urban living, JDS Development will also be tapping Field Operations to landscape the neighboring Southside Park into an environment-friendly urban oasis, with a canopy of mango trees, shortleaf figs, and other native vegetation. Field Operations, best known for its work on the Underline in Miami and Highline in New York, will also be using water conservation techniques, impactful vegetation, and other energy-efficient systems to create a truly healthy living environment.
