Mercedes-Benz Places
Mercedes-Benz Places:The first-ever North American Mercedes-Benz residential project offers elevated German design in a mixed-used tower that will transform Brickell’s luxury landscape.
JDS Group, the same development company behind Echo Brickell, Monad Terrace, and 888 Brickell by Dolce and Gabbana, brings the first residential tower by the German carmaker to Miami with Mercedes-Benz Places. The 67-story tower, offering studios to 3-bedroom units, will blend a classic design with a smart and sustainable urban approach to create a community in sync with its surroundings, offering understated luxury in Brickell’s exciting and cosmopolitan environment.
Designed by New York-based SHoP Architects in collaboration with designers at Mercedes-Benz, and local, Hollywood-based ODP Architecture and Design, the complex will encompass 2.5 million square feet, including 791 branded residences, more than 130,000 square feet of amenities and hospitality space, 200,000 square feet of office space, health, and fitness facilities, a 174-key hotel, retail options, and on-site parking. It will be located at 1 Southside Park.
The design for the building was centered around the theme “Timeless Design, Inspired by Miami”, also following the brand’s “Sensual Purity” philosophy, which aims to combine intelligence and evoke feeling. These contrasting principles create clear forms and sensuous surfaces, with emotion evident in the free-flowing elliptical lines and intelligence in the geometric forms so present in German and Bauhaus design.
The resulting structure is an eye-catching, cube-shaped tower, with interconnected rectangular blocks, unlike anything in Brickell’s architectural landscape. Using sustainable building methods and designs, the profiles of the individual balconies and terraces are created to capture light in various ways. The prominent color is technical silver with black and white accents throughout, in true Mercedes-Benz fashion.
Becoming an owner at Mercedes-Benz Places will provide you with so much more than a home or investment property. Among its offerings for residents is a wide range of mobility solutions reflecting their commitment to sustainability. These include EV charging stations, valet parking, a car fleet for occupants, as well as bicycle and scooter sharing. Additionally, landscaping for the project will be provided by the renowned Field Operations and will include the redevelopment of Southside Park as an urban oasis for healthy living.
Thanks to its prime Brickell location, residents and guests at Mercedes-Benz Places will have Miami’s business and cultural offerings at their fingertips with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shopping options within walking distance. On top of this, Miami Beach and Miami’s International Airport are only 25 minutes away.
Pricing for this unique project starts at around $550,000 up to $4 million. Completion is expected in 2027.
