The St. Regis Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale
Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach: A 40-acre yachtsman’s paradise of luxury condos, condo-hotel units, and hotel, designed to be the ultimate yachting destination steps from the beach
Developed in a joint venture by the Related Group, Tate Capital, and Rok Enterprises Inc., Bahia Mar will redefine the waterfront luxury lifestyle with their ambitious, $1 billion, mixed-use project on 40 breath-taking acres along the Intracoastal Waterway, featuring a wealth of amenities tailored to discerning buyers and travelers in the heart of the yachting capital of the world.
Designed by the internationally acclaimed Arquitectonica to replace the 47-year-old, 296-room Bahia Mar hotel resort, the newly imagined Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale will rise as four luxury, mixed-use waterfront towers, anchored by a 256-unit H-shaped, luxury branded resort that is to include 60 turnkey residences.
Together, buildings will house 350 condo units, 60 condo-hotel units, 256 hotel rooms, 88,000 square feet of commercial, plus 1,291 parking spaces, and will allow for the possibility of renting out units on a short-term basis. The waterfront towers, featuring a luminous glass facade, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, spacious balconies, and a grand porte cochere are telling of an ultra-luxury project catered to the nautically minded in the works.
In addition to resort-style amenities such as a pool with a wooden deck and chaise lounges looking out to the water, a tailored amenities package also includes a yacht marina with 245 slips, including space for super yachts, a half-mile pedestrian boardwalk, an abundance of green space, and 160,000 square feet of space across 7.3 acres to accommodate the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Living at Bahia Mar, famed Fort Lauderdale Beach is across the street. And residents can expect to have front-row seats to the annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show since the property sits along the section of the waterfront that has traditionally been used for the show. In addition to having access to the 44 acres of grounds, complete with every convenience and added luxury as well as being located close to the inlet for easy boating access to the ocean, residents will also be within a 10-minute drive to Las Olas Boulevard. By car, Publix is within 10 minutes, Downtown Fort Lauderdale is within 10 minutes, and the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is within 20 minutes.
