MEI is Mandarin for beauty and femininity, and what an apt description this is. The building’s architecture is not only easy on the eye but also brilliantly functional. Built with limestone and teak, the building has a premium feel that pays tribute to its Far-Eastern inspiration. Developed by PMG Collins and finished in 2008, the interior was done by hotel design firm, Hirsch Bedner Interior Designers. Hirsch Bedner have also done interior design for the likes of Ritz-Carlton and The Four Seasons.
