BH’s Bulk Buyout Bid for The Mutiny – Coconuta Grove
After DaGrosa Capital and Steven Figari, plus Slate Property Group’s failed attempts at a bulk buyout of The Mutiny, Aventura-based BH Group has joined the race with a $160 million offer. The storied condo-hotel was built in the late 1960s and presents a prime redevelopment opportunity.
The 12-story building sits on a premium parcel in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood. Perched at 2951 South Bayshore Drive, the 170-unit condominium sits across from Peacock Park and in proximity to the outdoor mall CocoWalk and international-grade sail action at Dinner Key Marina.
Cirrus Real Estate Wins Bid for Holiday Inn Port of Miami – Downtown Miami
Cirrus Real Estate Partners prevailed in the second round of auctions for the distressed Holiday Inn Port of Miami-Downtown property after its initial $77 million winning bid was voided due to procedural irregularities. Reentering the bidding at $77 million, the firm ultimately secured the site with a $95 million offer.
The transaction remains subject to final approval by U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Laurel Isicoff.
Perched across from Bayfront Park and in proximity to Downtown’s top destinations, the nearly one-acre site at 340 Biscayne Boulevard represents a prime redevelopment opportunity. Zoning allows for the development of an 82-story mixed-use tower. A prior owner was already approved to build the Arquitectonica-designed “Regalia on the Bay,” which would feature 374 condo units, 120 hotel rooms, retail and office space, plus 500 parking spots.
