Miami-based developer Melo Group recently broke ground on the first phase of its highly-anticipated Aria Reserve, a majestic waterfront twin-tower condo complex set on five waterfront acres, marking the year’s first groundbreaking in one of Miami’s most popular neighborhoods, Edgewater.

The 62-story South Tower of the area’s newest condo construction project houses 383 luxury residential units, of which 95% are pre-sold after sales were launched in summer of 2021. A spokesperson for the Melo Group announced that the South Tower will be completed in 2024.

Aria Reserve’s North Tower, set to break ground in the coming months, has already pre-sold about half of its 363 units, and is scheduled for completion in 2025. As the tallest waterfront condo complex in the U.S., Aria Reserve will transform the Miami skyline.

“Aria Reserve will become an architectural landmark in Edgewater because of its magnitude and the components from nature that will come along with it,” announced Carlos Melo, one of the Melo Group’s co-owners.

Aria Reserve: Designed for Relaxed Luxury

Designed by Miami’s own Arquitectonica, with interiors by Morada Haute-Furniture Boutique, Aria Reserve will include residences ranging from 1-bedroom floor plans spanning 1,100 square feet to 3,030 square-foot 4-bedroom floor plans. All floorplans feature an extra den or office space. Unit prices as of the time of this posting range between $1.1 million to over $4 million.

The towers will also include Penthouse Mansions ranging between 3,500 and 9,000 square feet, with private rooftop pool decks, summer kitchens, and three-car garages, priced in the neighborhood of $12 million.

All units will include two private or semi-private elevators, at least 10 foot ceilings, a dedicated office/den or workspace, and open flow-through layouts, with expansive terraces extending up to 11 feet in depth, from which residents can enjoy uninterrupted views of the sunset to the west, as well as dazzling views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic to the east.

Spanning two acres, with 550 linear feet of direct waterfront access, Aria Reserve will feature top-tier amenities such as a marina designed for water sports, a zen meditation garden, indoor-outdoor gyms and yoga decks, an observatory area with a telescope, a solarium, and a café/restaurant, as well as several pools and a whirlpool spa. A rooftop sky lobby will provide an exclusive lounge area for adults only, with an outdoor bayfront terrace, a wine cellar, and private workspaces.

Aria Reserve units will be larger than other Edgewater residences that have been constructed in the past decade, reflecting market demand and the neighborhood’s upward mobility as wealthier families and individuals become interested in this elegant residential neighborhood. Nestled East of Biscayne Boulevard along the shores of Biscayne Bay, Edgewater provides easy access to the
Downtown Miami Arts and Entertainment District and has grown into one of Miami’s most lucrative condo markets.

Beautifying Edgewater

Aria Reserve promises to beautify the neighborhood with stunning architectural design and investment in the neighborhood’s baywalk. With breathtaking views and a serene location, the project includes a public park with open green space along 23rd Street, linking Aria Reserve to the Miami Baywalk, a 5-mile-long pedestrian and bike-friendly promenade along the waterfront that will connect Edgewater to Downtown Miami, Brickell Key, and Brickell Bay Drive in Brickell.

Set just north of the Downtown Arts and Entertainment District, Aria Reserve is adjacent to the Wynwood Arts District, Miami Design District, and Midtown Miami, providing walkable access to  a wide range of art galleries, high-end boutiques, eateries ranging from casual to elegant, and Miami’s most fashionable and chic cultural venues. Tucked between the Venetian and Julia Tuttle Causeways, there is also quick and easy access to Miami Beach.
