Feb 13, 2019 February 13, 2019

When you think of Miami you think of the beautiful sunshine, cool ocean breeze and fresh outdoor air. So when you are ready to buy your next condo, having a private outdoor space to enjoy is a must. But for some, a typical balcony just isn’t enough. True bliss is to go one step further and owning a big chunk of the outdoors by buying into condo with a rooftop terrace or lanai unit with a massive balcony or terrace.

Condos with Private Rooftop Terrace

Amazing Outdoor Spaces: Private Rooftop - Asia

There is nothing like taking stairs or an elevator in your condo to your very own private rooftop terrace. Many rooftop terraces also include summer kitchens, jacuzzis or at least have space and plumbing/electrical to be able to house those luxury amenities. Whether you call it a rooftop patio or rooftop deck, Miami has some great options for you.

Terrace with Private Pool

Yes, another benefit of a larger outdoor space for your condo is sometimes the ability to get a condo with a private pool! In some of the more luxurious condo buildings and many penthouses, you can get a condo with a private pool on your rooftop deck, balcony, or private rooftop pool terrace.

Condos on Lanai Level

Lanai level condos typically are on lower floors (ground floor, 2nd or 3rd floor) and have extra large terraces that feel more like a small backyard than a balcony.

Extra Large Oversized Balcony in a Condo

Some luxury condos just come with oversized, extra-deep balconies as a standard. In other buildings, certain special units come with extra large terrace for a huge outdoor living space.

When it comes down to it, we were meant to breathe in nature and take in the sun. To combine the luxuries of Miami condo living with private outdoor living is the epitome of life in paradise. Whether you end up with a private rooftop patio, lanai condo with oversized terrace, a rooftop deck with private pool just to yourself, or just an extra spacious oversized terrace or rooftop terrace, you are living well, as you should. Cheers.

Opinions and Advice Condo Painting Dos and Don’ts
Painting your home can be a daunting prospect. From color selection to the clean-up mess! However, when done right, a good paint job can give your condo a well-needed facelift. Believe it or not, painting is actually quite a complex procedure. I mean, who knew there were 52 shades of white?! And whatever color you do end up choosing will dictate the mood and feel of your entire condo - so no pressure! What Color? Which Room? At the end of the day, you should paint your house in whatever color floats your boat! You have to live there after all. That being said there are definitely good and bad paint colors. The colors and combinations you chose will ultimately have an impact on the look, and more importantly, the feel of your home, and this can be pivotal when it comes time to sell.  For example, you might love a dramatic dark indigo wall, but houses with dark walls have historically sold for less than ones painted in lighter and more neutral tones. So it is important that you...
