The Related Group is planning on building at the 1400 Biscayne site and has been progressing rather quickly.
After only two short months, Related went from purchasing the property for $57 million to advertising for the 60-story Auberge Residences & Spa condo tower project. According to Carlos Rosso, executive of the Related Group, the project will have a lot of fantastic public art to set it apart from other projects.
The project will be managed by Auberge Resorts, which is also what is happening to a similar project in Fort Lauderdale, which Related is planning as well.
In mid-2015, Related will be accepting the first wave of reservations. In the end of 2015, Related hopes to begin construction for the project.
Auberge will be a luxurious hotel with prices that will average about $700 per square-foot. The units will have private elevators and other deluxe features to add to the experience.
Arquitectonica is the architectural firm designing the project.
