The Miami International Boat Show, South Beach Wine & Food Festival, GroundUp Music Fest, plus Coconut Grove Art Festival will be back creating waves and making February in Miami so beautiful. GroundUp Music Festival: February 3-5

This 3-day jam session on Miami's north coast is known for its laid-back vibe and stacked lineups. Highlighting talented artists from diverse backgrounds, the annual event features music ranging from next-gen jazz to classic rock, funk, and world music. The headliner this year will be Isaiah Sharkey, followed by a lineup inclusive of Snarky Puppy, Madison Cunningham, Silvana Estrada, Lizz Wright, Keyon Harrold, and others. There will also be masterclasses, workshops, meet-ups, late-night jam sessions, brunches, and more special events.
 


Heritage Fest 2023 - Black Resistance: February 4

In line with national Black History Month celebrations, this 4-hour representation will showcase the strength and perseverance of the African diaspora. Coconut Grove Arts Festival: February 18-20

The Coconut Grove Arts Festival returns in all its glory for its 59th edition along Coconut Grove's stunning waterfront. Named one of America's premier arts festivals, more than 280 internationally-recognized and jury-selected artists will be taking part in this spectacular show.

Equally fun for the budding aficionado to seasoned collectors and families, this 3-day outdoor art festival will also feature a 6-container, pyramid-style canvas called The Stacks, a kitchen showdown among top chefs and mixologists, an Inner Artist corner for make-and-take art, live performances, and much more. Gay8 (Gay Ocho) Festival: February 19

South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF 2023): February 23-26

Embedding Images into Encaustic Painting + Advanced Encaustic Texture Techniques: February 18-19 + 20

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road, Coral Gables


Helping you decode the complex world of encaustic painting, Andrea Clement will be leading both workshops to help students create and take home 2 encaustic pieces that they have made from their own photographs. While the first workshop is open to novices, the advanced class is best suited for returning students with a basic understanding.

With the theme "Frontiers in History," HistoryMiami Museum welcomes you to explore the projects exhibited by middle and high school-age students in the categories of paper, performance, documentary, and website. There will also be an afternoon guided tour of "Stories of Resistance from Black Miami: From Civil Rights to BLM," followed by a guided tour of "Tropical Dreams," a history of pirates.
 


Mini Valentine's Monday + Black History Celebration: February 13 + 25-26

Kick-off Valentine's Day celebrations with your little one as you dress up in red, decorate cards, and cook with love for the museum's Mini Valentine's Monday.
