Brickell vs Brickell Key
Real Estate News Brickell vs Brickell Key
The Brickell neighborhood, and its adjacent Brickell Key, are among Miami’s most desirable neighborhoods for young professionals who want a walkable lifestyle close to where they work and play. But there are some major differences between the two neighborhoods. If you’re trying to decide between moving to Brickell or Brickell Key, here are some points to consider about each location. Lifestyle Miami’s high-powered Brickell neighborhood is known as the “Manhattan of the South.” Brickell is where you go when you want to revel in the urban lifestyle, surrounded by highrise condos and office buildings, and with tons of restaurant and nightlife options on every corner. Brickell Key is a separate island, a tranquil residential enclave right beside the urban hustle-bustle of Brickell. There is only one way in and out of Brickell Key, so it feels like a small village. Brickell Key has quiet streets with speed bumps galore. It has its own markets, including a flower shop, beauty salon...
South Beach is Getting Lots of New Park Space
Lifestyle South Beach is Getting Lots of New Park Space
Miami Beach city planning has always impressed me. Between its protection and maintenance of the coastline and beach amenities, along with a slew of great outdoor spaces and public facilities, South Beach has always been one of Miami’s best-loved places to live. More impressive still is the fact that it just keeps getting better. Currently in the works are two new parks that will serve the South Beach area with 5.8 acres of green space, shady trees, and even more ways to enjoy the outdoorsy, freewheeling SoBe lifestyle. Pride Park While parking in SoBe is still an issue, who wouldn't love to see that parking lot across the street from the Miami Beach Convention Center torn down to make way for a beautiful new park, with fresh new shade trees and more opportunities to get around by using your legs instead of your car? Edgewater Miami vs South Beach
Real Estate News Edgewater Miami vs South Beach
With the construction boom happening in Edgewater and the area surrounding Downtown Miami, it’s no wonder that many people are curious about this blossoming new neighborhood in Miami and how it compares to the highly desirable area of South Beach. While South Beach was the place to be in its boom days around the turn of the 21st century, many of its residents have now taken up “adulting” and moved to the quieter Edgewater to take the edge off their lifestyle and enjoy a more tranquil urban scene. Lifestyle Edgewater is located on the edge of Biscayne Bay on the Miami mainland, and is quieter and less touristy than SoBe. In terms of walkability, it is somewhat more limited, with Biscayne Bay as its main artery and a few blocks leading to nearby Wynwood and the Design District, which are known for their artsy restaurants and boutiques. But Edgewater also has plenty of buildings going up and land to build, so it will inevitably continue to build in walkability. Aerial view of...
