Smith & Wollensky
1 Washington Ave, South Beach
This South Beach location to the popular NYC-based steakhouse chain serves traditional steak and seafood dishes paired with an award-winning wine list. Located right at Governor’s Cut, book an evening table to catch the fabulous sunset and wave to cruise ships, jet skiers, yachts and more passing by. Water views run aplenty, whether dining inside or out. The lobster dishes come highly recommended, and so do the sides including mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and the cocktails.
Scarpetta
4441 Collins Ave, Mid-Beach
Perched in Miami Beach’s Fontainebleau, this award-winning restaurant by celeb chef Scott Conant serves urban-rustic Italian specials in a nautical setting. Dine al fresco or by a window to soak in the gorgeous ocean views. Everything, from the simple spaghetti with tomato and basil to the foie gras ravioli, come highly recommended. Regulars also swear by the velvety polenta, beef short-rib agnolotti, bread basket, tasting menu delights and sublime wine menu.

3201 Collins Ave, Mid-Beach
This swanky restaurant by Top Chef-winner Paul Qui sits inside the Faena Hotel serving globally-inspired Asian dishes. It’s pièce de résistance golden unicorn sculpture and breathtaking ocean views have been the talk of the town since its opening. Known for its bold flavors, regulars recommend trying the wagyu carpaccio, whole fish and pork adobo rice, all washed down by a perfectly paired wine list.
Artisan Beach House
10295 Collins Ave, Bal Harbour
Housed in the chic Ritz Carlton, this upscale restaurant serves New American with an emphasis on locally sourced seafood. Sit out on the waterfront patio to enjoy the ocean breeze and views. The place is best known for its Sunday brunches, avocado toast, flavorful swordfish, grilled octopus, Nutella French toast, and craft cocktails.
Lique
3957 NE 163rd St, North Miami Beach
This indoor/outdoor restaurant sits on the Intracoastal, serving Mediterranean fusion with a South of France flair. Picking a seat outside gives an opportunity to say hello to the yachts, or better still, guests can even pull up in one of their own at the dock. The Chilean sea bass, Tanglewood duck, spicy tuna roll, crab bisque and all-you-can-eat crab legs top the menu of must-haves.
